Running from 18 September 2025 to 1 November 2026, the exhibition explores the technological and cultural shifts that have transformed how each generation connects with sport. It invites visitors to reflect on what it means to experience the Olympic Games today and to imagine how they might evolve in the future.

Welcome to the Olympic Museum situated in Lausanne – the Olympic Capital. This renowned cultural institution is the official home of the world’s largest and most comprehensive collection of Olympic heritage. Immerse yourself in the exhibitions, take part in cultural and activities, explore the sculpture park, shop in the boutique or enjoy the museum's panoramic restaurant overlooking Lake Geneva. Experience the excitement of the Olympic Games. The flame is yours!

Recommended duration visit : 1.5 hour.

There are few better placed than Christophe Dubi to explain what goes on behind the scenes at the mega sporting and cultural event that is the Olympic Games. As the Olympic Games Executive Director, Dubi oversees each edition, from the early dialogue phases to the official closing of the Games and the dissolution of the Organising Committee. He’s at the very heart of operations, coordinating all aspects of the Games – sporting, logistical and cultural – in close cooperation with Olympic Movement stakeholders. With dedication and an overarching vision, he works to ensure that the Games remain one of the biggest sporting spectacles in the world, while also leaving an inspiring, long-term legacy for future generations. The talk starts at 6:30 p.m. and will be in French. Registration is free but places are limited, so make sure you book a seat now to avoid missing out on what promises to be a memorable event. -
