Ahead of the Curve celebrates innovation at the Olympic Games, from how athletes compete to how the world watches and plays. Running from 18 September 2025 to 1 November 2026, the exhibition explores the technological and cultural shifts that have transformed how each generation connects with sport. It invites visitors to reflect on what it means to experience the Olympic Games today and to imagine how they might evolve in the future.

The screening of "FÒS" will be followed by a chance to meet Enzo Lefort (FR), an Olympic fencing champion, photographer and director. Through this documentary filmed in Guadeloupe, Lefort explores another way to tell the story of fencing, between history, transmission and personal observation. The evening will start with a screening of the film, followed by an exchange with the audience on the documentary's creation and Lefort's career. A rare chance to see what happens when elite sport meets artistic vision.

In collaboration with Le Temps, the Olympic Museum is organising two round tables linked to the “Ahead of the Curve” exhibition. The theme of this first one is “the Olympic Games and television: a love affair with technology”.

For television, the Games have always been a hub for innovation and a perfect testing ground. Each edition has been an opportunity for the world’s broadcasters to push the boundaries of what is possible: live coverage, the advent of colour, high definition and now drones, onboard cameras and real-time infographics.
